We offer unique safaris with a personal touch and good value for money so we advise you to visit our website regularly so that you will realize more what we have to offer and you can make a choice which will suit you the best.

Unfortunately Zimbabwe has a continuously changing economic situation, herefore the given prices in our website are an indication. However within our organization we feel that an investment of a lifetime experience should no go together with sky-high prices. Because of that, our prices are very accessible and strongly competitive with other travel agencies and operators.

General Terms and Conditions

Reservation
Once your wishes are completely clear, we will put together an itinerary and free quotation which is valid for 10 days. if your questions can't be answered by email it is possible to make an appointment by phone. Once you are satisfied with the itinerary you can reserve the tour. You will receive a reservation form which you will have to complete and return to us by email, fax or post. We do not charge any reservation or intermediary costs.

Payment
After receiving your invoice, a down payment of at least 10% of the invoiced amount, with a minimum of € 250,- p.p. needs to be made within the reservation term of 10 days. Always note the invoice number and reservation number with your payment. When the payment is received, we shall send you a "confirmation letter" detailing your final itinerary and terms of payment for the outstanding balance on your account. We will then issue you vouchers for any individual activities you have choosen on your safari on receipt of your final payment. Full payment must be done at minimum 8 weeks before departure. If you book a trip within 8 weeks full payment must be done at once. Your journey can only go on when full payment is received on time.

Cancellation fee
With cancellation by incomplete payment before departure apply the same rules as by cancellation of the journey. Cancellation fee will be deducted from the restitution.

The following cancellation charges will be applied:
More than 56 days prior to departure - 75 Euro administration fee
41 - 56 days prior to departure: 80% refund less bank charges
29 - 41 days prior to departure: 50% refund less bankcharges
14 - 29 days prior to departure: 20% refund less bankcharges
 0 - 14 days prior to departure: 0% refund

No refunds are given on "no shows" or where a person leaves a tour before it is due to end.

Extra Service
As an extra service we can make reservations for the intercontinental flights as well. These flights that we only reserve for you go under the airlines terms and cancellation procedures. These flights will be booked by South African Airways, KLM or British Airways, the invoice will be send directly to you by email or post.
In general the sooner you make flight reservations, the cheaper will be the ticket.

Travel Insurrance
We highly advise you NOT to leave home without adequate travel insurance to cover your expenses world wide. The travel insurance will be your own responsibility to take care off. In case of, it can save you a lot of money and misery.

Prices
Alle prices mentioned are in euro’s and exclude international flights, insurrances, visa, departure tax, optional excursions and gratuities. We do not charge V.A.T. Zimba Safaris reserves the right to increase their tour fares due to any increase in airline tariffs, fuel costs, game reserve entry fees, fluctuation of exchange rates, etc.

Factors outside our control
Unforeseen circumstances due to road conditions, weather, mechanical breakdown, accident, border closure, political situations etc are beyond the control of Zimba Safaris and can delay and change the performance of the safari. When occurs Zimba Safaris will do her best to help to maintain the quality of your safari. When necessary the cost of flying back home, alternative accommodation, food, personal expenses and all resulting costs are to be borne by the client. For any optional excursions Zimba Safaris does not take any responsability. The client is aware that insurance is compulsory to participate on all tours and acknowledges that it is responsibility to take comprehensive travel insurance. Zimba Safaris will accept no liability whatsoever.

Liability
We would like you to realize that you choose for an adventurous holiday in a strange country. In Africa you find yourself in quite different circumstances than you are used to in your own country.

Please be aware that 'wildlife' is real wildlife and that every animal can show unpredictable behaviour so it is important for yours and others safety to listen and follow up the intructions of your guide. Please be aware that these safaris may take you into close contact with wild animals. Attacks by wild animals are rare, but no safari into the African Wilderness can quarantee that this will not occur. Neither the local company, their staff nor agents can be held responsible for any injury or incident on the safari. Please note that all camps are not fenced. Zimba Safaris as well as the local operators reserves the right to withdraw any tour option, eliminate any feature, or alter any itinerary, should local conditions necessitate. The local operators reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain any person on a tour, charter or safari at any time should such person's physical or mental health and condition, or general attitude and deportment impede the operation of the tour, charter or safari or the welfare and enjoyment of other clients. Neither Zimba Safaris nor the local operators shall be liable for any expenses incurred by the client in any such event. Neither Zimba Safaris nor the local operators, nor any person acting for, through or on behalf of the local operators shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever, arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in its brochures or literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, whether occasioned by negligence or not. Should you have any faults or complaints during your stay we advise you to make known of this in writing at the place and time beeing because only then we can deal with complaints.
