BOOK YOUR TRIP EARLY
We prefer to use small and intimate accommodations, managed by local touroperators who support the local people and their environments - at the most remote and unique locations avoiding mass tourism.
These exclusive accommodations are extremely popular and are booked up very quickly. Some of them can only accommodate up to 8 people. If you are interested in any safari that we offer we advise you to contact us early so we can make arrangements and be sure to fit in the accommodation of your choice into your itinerary.

| Chitake Hiking Trail
The Chitake Hiking Trail is one of our most intense options and we do not recommend it to first time travellers to Africa. This trail is suited to a person who is adventurous and who wants to enjoy Mana Pools National Park in its purest and untouched form.
The basic idea of Chitake Hiking Trail is to start at a leisurely pace at Chitake Springs, here you will camp for a few days then once you have got used to the climate and surroundings we will begin our trip into the Park making our way down to the river via the many different waterholes that abound in the area, please note however that this trip is purely at the guides discretion and the availability of water in the area.
This trail is a combination of a fully backed up and semi participatory, where once you are in Chitake it will be fully backed up and the campsite will be already prepared for you and then once you begin the hike you will be required to help set up tents and organise the campsite.
Chitake Hiking Trail - 15 April - 15 November.
4 days / 3 nights

01 July - 30 October € 1075,- p.p.
Costs include: - two cessna flights into/out Mana Pools, accommodation in tented safari camp, a full menu and a bar (local drinks provided), and the services of a professional guide.

We recommend that clients charter into and out of Mana Pools National Park, if you would like assistance in arranging these please contact us.

Camp Chitake
Camp Chitake is situated next to the Chitake River, which is only a few kilometres away from the Zambezi Escarpment; during the dry months the river dries up and found in the dry riverbed is the Chitake Springs. Because it is the only water source for miles around many thousands of animals and birds congregate here.
The tented camp is set up along the shores of the dry riverbed. From here you can walk into the surrounding areas or just sit and watch from an advantage point as the thirsty animals come down to drink.
