Day 1
Departure Amsterdam - Brussel to Lusaka
Day 2 - 4
At Lusaka Airport a representative of the charter company will meet you and transfer you onto a light aircraft to Mfuwe. At Mfuwe Airport, a representative from the company will meet you and take you in an open landrover back to the Mfuwe Lodge.
The
Mfuwe Lodge
is a luxury Lodge situated INSIDE the South Luangwa National Park. It is one of only two permanent lodges inside the national Park and is open throughout the year. Each chalet has its own private verandah overlooking the lagaune where often animals come to drink.
One third of each chalet's perimeter can be opened, to allow you to enjoy the views, the sounds, the scents and the mood of the African wilderness.
Safaris are done early in the morning and late afternoon in open 4WD. Between the safaris and the delicious diners you will have time to relax near the huge swimmingpool which borders a lagoon where you can often see animals drink or taking a bath. Or you can visit the library which is entirely dedicated to nature conservation related issues, African culture, tradition and history, or just enjoy the comfort and the beautiful view of your lodge.
Day 4 - 8
Road transfer to Kapamba Bushcamp. You will spend 4 nights in this bushcamp overlooking the Kapamba River.
Days are spent by foot exploring the magnificient surroundings and the evenings with night drives.
All safaris are planned in such a way that you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy all that surrounds you.
Day 8
Return back by road to Mfuwe Lodge for a night relaxing in the luxury that is renowned with Mfuwe Lodge. Mfuwe Lodge sits poised like an island paradise between two affluent lagoons affording constant spectacular game viewing. You can take part of the game drives or just sit back and relax and spoil yourself with snacks and cool drinks.
Day 9
Return transfer back to Mfuwe International Airport for your flight in a light aircraft back to Lusaka.

Day 1

At Mfuwe Airport, a representative from the company will meet you and take you in an open landrover back to the Mfuwe Lodge.This same afternoon you are able to undertake your first rewarding game drive.
Day 3 - 6
-Road transfer to
Kapamba Bushcamp.. You will spend 3 nights in this bushcamp overlooking the Kapamba River. Days are spent by foot exploring the magnificient surroundings and the evenings with night drives. All safaris are planned in such a way that you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy all that surrounds you.
Day 6 - 9
-Early departure to
Bilimungwe Bushcamp is a trail camp nestled in a riverine forest along the picturesque banks of the Luangwa River.
The camp is made up of four very comfortable reed and thatch chalets all with en-suite showers, toilet and double vanities.
The chalets are situated on the edge of the bush and are regularly visited by wildlife.
Day 9
Return transfer back to Mfuwe International Airport for your flight in a light aircraft back to Lusaka.
