BOOK YOUR TRIP EARLY
We prefer to use small and intimate accommodations, managed by local touroperators who support the local people and their environments - at the most remote and unique locations avoiding mass tourism.
These exclusive accommodations are extremely popular and are booked up very quickly. Some of them can only accommodate up to 8 people. If you are interested in any safari that we offer we advise you to contact us early so we can make arrangements and be sure to fit in the accommodation of your choice into your itinerary.
Did you know that Zimba Safaris also organise alternative holidays involving projects with the local rural community to i.e. Malawi?
Not only your are able to visit a community but you can also actual work on a project.
So why not considder a combination of a safari and a project...
Giving people the opportunity to make a difference in short term visits for long term projects. Meeting the needs of communities in a variety of ways.
If you feel like visiting a project, please let us know and we will do our best to make an arrangement for you.
Beside visiting a project we also offer you the opportunity to actual work on a project. Depending on your wishes, duration of your stay, your knowlegde and your skills we will find a project that suits you most.
You can think of working at a school (maintenance activities like painting and restoring furniture) or teaching music, maths, English, religious education, sport etc. Or maybe maintenance activities in a clinic, a church, in a village or an orphanage, participate in a days work in a hospital and/or prison. Any help and effort is very welcome!
Forging friendships and building bridges across communities, cultures and continents is a life time experience you will not forget!
